Testing the walk

Anna & Jeremy tested the walk (note the impressive footwear) with writer and Creative Writing PhD Student Caroline Millar (who has also worked on marketing and publicity for the project and was involved in delivering one of the focus days). This was an integral part of the process of making the walk and allowed the team to make sure everything worked in terms of technology, but also to work on the interaction between the sounds and their environment. It is difficult to envisage how each piece will work without being physically on site. The team also had the walk tested by a group of wheelchair users to gauge accessibility.

Sadly, not all of the site is accessible to those with mobility issues. Guidance notes on accessibility are available now on this website.
