Soundscape workshop at Lower Halstow Primary School

Anna Braithwaite led a soundscape creation workshop with children at Lower Halstow Primary School.

None of the class (including teachers) had taken part in a Digital Audio Workshop before, but there were a number of students who had heard of the Garageband website/app and had even used it before. It’s exciting to run a workshop where children express a confident, willingness to try new things.

Anna guided the children through the creative and technical steps to bring their ideas, voices and songs to the Hulked Soundwalk.

The students are invited to The Old Brickfields in Spring 2024 to listen to their soundscape as they walk beside Glass Bottle Beach.
